Just a note to plug Serenitatis’ newest affiliate, a new BSSM fansite and gallery, Isshou ni! There’s lots to see, including some great Usagi/Mamoru essays and gorgeous images. Don’t miss the panoramic screencaps! (Wish I’d thoughta that!)
This update is mostly to report that the ordering link for BSSM Volume 5 is now up — and once again, California residents can be Amazon.com Affiliates! So I can go back to earning my $3 per year ($10 minimum payout. You do the math.) WOO!
Also, I have the sad duty of removing old/dead links (or at least, acknowledging that they are old and dead, in the case of the Sprites gallery.) Most notable of these is Lycentia’s Sailor Moon Web Graphics, a pillar of the old-old-OLDBIE Sailor Moon sites, and one I mourn the loss of. Lycentia helped insane amounts of Sailor Moon sites/siteowners with prettier graphics, better layouts, and better knowledge of site-making.
It’s crazy to think I’ve had this site online for fourteen years, but there you go — launched September 19, 1997! (Before I knew about Talk Like a Pirate Day, which now perpetually reminds me that it’s Serenitatis’ site-birthday.)
Have you gotten your hands on Sailor Moon volume 1 yet? I received mine last week and was very pleased with the translation. And yay, color pages!! It’s not as nice a volume as the Japanese versions (especially the first-print editions, which had more extras, embossed covers, etc), but still, to read BSSM in English without wanting to throw things at the name choices (and other arbitrary changes) is refreshing and pleasant! Volume 2 comes out in November, don’t miss out!
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your stay!
Somehow I neglected to post this three months ago, so better late than never… Kodansha USA To Publish Sailor V and Sailor Moon Manga!
Preorder the first four BSSM volumes today: Volume 1 | Volume 2
| Volume 3
| Volume 4
Added a link to a new BSSM goods site. I am reminded of how many good sites (and goods sites) have disappeared over the years…. :\ It’s sad.
